Four days ago it was -20C. And today it's +19C. I came to work in a short-sleeved blouse, and I'm really hot. Especially since the heating in my office is still on full blast. I have a meeting about my merit review in 5 minutes, and I don't want it to look like I'm sweating because I have things to conceal. Especially since as an autistic I don't know how to conceal anything.
A high BP sufferer like me finds it hard to deal with such radical changes in weather.
Wow, I think I finally managed to write at least one non-controversial post.

Non-controverial my foot! What is this talk of "C?" Is that like C for Communist!?!11
I think ya'll should leave your funny temperatures and Centigrates and use Fahrenheit just like Jesus did!

What does "high BP" mean? Is BP an abbreviation for blood pressure??
Mike: yes, finally my commie-pinko nature has been revealed through my allegiance to the subversive Centigrade system. :-)
PT: I have hereditary high blood pressure. I had the first incident when I was 24, ten years ago, and I ended up in the ER. But I'm not on any medication and try to control it with other means. Blogging is one of them. :-)
Why do you think I dream of living in Norway? :-)
This is a controversial post. I love this weather!!!
:)
I'm mostly complaining about such a drastic and rapid change in temperature, not the warmth so much.
I was pulling your legs actually. The erratic nature of the weather is horrible.
Thank you so much for showing up at our event today :).
The event was great! These guys are great public speakers. Where were the students, though??
I had no idea. Strange that students of the speakers themselves refused to show up. It could be the weather, or insufficient publicity. Or both.
It could be intellectual inertia as well.
