Thank you for linking to my work!

This is going to sound so convoluted, but I promise there's a point: I received an email notification that you started following me on Twitter and I looked at your page, curious as to who you were. I clicked on your blog and saw that you linked to my work, so I figured that this is why you decided to follow me. Upon looking through your last few tweets, I noticed this one: "I'm so tired of hearing spoiled rich boys and girls yammer about the need "to examine their privilege."" This sounded eerily familiar, because just a few days ago I was reading a post on Feministe, and someone posted a comment saying pretty much the same thing. I found the post again to make sure I wasn't going crazy, and what do you know, I was right! It was you who posted that comment. What are the chances of someone seeing my work recently linked on a forum and emailing it to you (I have a sneaking suspicion that this is how it happened), whose words I was reading just the other day!

The point: It's a freaking small world out there.

You know, Olga, the world is even smaller than it seems. Believe it or not, my real name is also Olga. :-) :-) :-)

And I see that you also love cooking. These coincidences are too weird.

I also got back into Project Runway this season (one of the contestants is a 2010 graduate of my alma mater) and went to my local farmer's market on Saturday AND was annoyed by the live country music being played.

It's like I've stepped into the twilight zone!
