Teaching Shoes
Teaching language and literature classes for 3 hours 45 minutes in a row while wearing heavy winter boots turned into an impossible enterprise. Last Thursday I felt like Andersen's Little Mermaid in that every step I made while walking home after classes hurt almost as much as if I were walking on knife blades.
So I decided to buy shoes that would be comfortable enough for teaching. In the process of looking for such shoes, the goal somehow transformed from searching for comfortable shoes into looking for pretty shoes, and here is the result. At least, they are definitely a lot lighter than the winter boots, so there is a positive tendency right here.

Those are very pretty! And, if they don't work out for teaching, they'll work out for a night out.
