If You Are Not Outraged

For years, I've had this sticker on the door to my apartment. It allowed me to figure out if people I invited over had anything in common with me.

If a visitor asked, "Outraged by what?", I knew that this was not the right person for me to hang out with.

If, however, they said, "Exactly!", I knew it would be the beginning of a wonderful firendship.

I never told you how much I love this sticker. I am so happy it did not disappear!

I'm afraid I would have been thrown out after asking "Outraged by what?". I really don't get the point.

Don't you find that being perpetually outraged is very tiring? And how do you react when something really outrageous comes along?

I would likely get thrown out - because I would have the decency to inquire what you're outraged about, rather than assuming it's the same things that outrage me.

However, if you gave me the pass on the question, then we might find common ground of outrage.

The post was supposed to be humorous. :-) As you can see, I don't throw anybody out of the blog, unless they get really offensive or menacing.
