Now we can see which countries have the greatest number of true intellectuals. :-) I understand every country on this list except Netherlands. I mean, it's a great country and everything but I never even mentioned it on the blog. Maybe I should start writing about Netherlands, though, to recognize all those intelligent Dutch visitors.
I'm sorry if this is boring to everybody but I'm fascinated with numbers. Everything has to be counted and then pondered. :-) Something a lot more fun is to come, though. I'm going to the movies to see Black Swan tonight, so a review is forthcoming.

I would not use the epithet "fun" with respect to "Black Swan", though...
If it's boring, please let me know right now before we leave! I haven't looked at a single review in order to avoid spoilers.
I haven't seen it yet, though I very much want to, but based on my experience with other Darren Aronofsky movies I think V might be saying it's hard to watch. Not that it's boring, just that it's kind of disturbing.
(I loved "Pi," for example, but there are some very creepy, even downright unpleasant sequences in it!)
And I don't think your posts about blog stats are boring at all!
For one thing, they're very short. :)
For another, I know I don't understand much about Sitemeter, which I use to monitor my blog traffic, so I sometimes like to read other people's posts about blog traffic to see if I can learn more about how to use it.
I only watch 1 or 2 new movies per year, so I hope this is not a misguided choice. I've felt like going to the movies for a while but there is never anything on that I might even remotely hope to sit through.
V.: I can't find a single visitor from Latvia, though. Not a single one. This is weird because I've even had people from the Palestinian Territories come here. Have people in Latvia not discovered the Internet yet? :-)
I also watch very few movies. Books are so much richer an experience.
I just noticed that there are no visitors listed from Spanish speaking countries. This seems a bit strange, too.
"I also watch very few movies. Books are so much richer an experience."
-Exactly! They spoon-feed you too much, leaving no room for the imagination.
There are some visitors from Spanish-speaking countries but not a significant percentage. The Spanish-language blogosphere is very rich, so people have no need to come to English-language websites.
And pray, where's Nigeria, and Ukraine? :)
Re Black Swan: not boring, but, as Lindsay says, somewhat disturbing.
Re the Netherlands: why Norway does not surprise you?
Re Latvia: they have gone bankrupt.
These are just the most frequent countries I listed. There are quite a few visitors from Niigeria. I wonder why. Wink, wink. :-)
And there were maybe 3 visitors from Ukraine. My people don't find me in the least interesting. Not even interesting enough to hate, like the Russians. :-)
How do you know Russians hate you?
Don't you remember the whole hair debacle? Do you know how many of them came from you know where to gawp at my hair and then discuss how ugly and unhealthy it is? Many!!! Those people are weird.
Norway doesn't surprise because it's my favorite country in the world (where I've never been yet) and I keep mentioning it here. I think the Norwegians perceive my love for them at a distance. :-)
