It's in Daytona Beach. Cool, huh?
Of course, I'd much rather go to the Dominican Republic. But this looks very beautiful, too.
The best way to rest for me is to lie stupidly on the beach while staring at the sky and possibly even drooling. I also tend to read a lot of Žižek on the beach, so expect a lot of reviews.

Daytona Beach? So many memories...
Ol.
As a Floridian, I would strongly urge you to consider the west coast - Naples, Ft. Myers, Sanibel, Sarasota - or the panhandle - Ft. Walton Beach, Destin, Pensacola - rather than the east coast. The Gulf beaches are SO much nicer than the Atlantic beaches. (Not that the Atlantic beaches are bad -they're great - it's just the Gulf beaches are better.)
Is The Dominican Republic a lot more expensive?
No, it would be cheaper. It's because of the papers that leaving the country is not a good idea for one of us right now. Stupid papers.
I live in Florida now, and I grew up in Florida. Daytona Beach is ok, but there are a lot of better options.
Sanibel (mentioned above) is beautiful.
The area where I live (Tampa Bay) has some of the world's best beaches, and Caladesi Island State Park is one of my favorite places in the area. The beaches there are usually not that crowded because you can only get there by ferry (well, sort of).
If I had to pick any place, I'd definitely pick Caladesi. It'll be a lot less crowded, a lot more beautiful, and cheaper.
And if you do come to this area, I'd be glad to show you around and show you where all the really cool stuff is.

How do people feel about Clearwater Beach?
Very nice beach, and it's close to Caladesi. Pretty crowded, though.
You can actually walk to Caladesi from there since a hurricane joined the island with the mainland.

Strange. Blogger has eaten your recent posts. (?) And, it is repeating a word verification I saw earlier.
